Moving out (especially permanently) is not an easy choice to make. Women think long and hard before they “have” to move out!
A woman living alone means she’s fully responsible for herself, and trust me that’s not an easy task to do!
Moving out means you’re on your own. You’ll have to choose a decent place in a decent neighborhood, pay the rent on time, pay the bills, buy groceries, stuff the house with essentials, and support yourself emotionally and mentally (which is tough ladies, I know, especially at first).
But why do women (who have roofs over their heads and food on the table and someone who provides) move out in the first place?
Well, some of the reasons are as below:
- Studying abroad (in a different country)
- Working in a different/in the same governorate as their parents
- Decided that it was time to focus on herself because she has given so much of her time and energy to her family.
- Doesn’t intend to get married and her parents are continuously up in her business or nagging her about it, so she decides to live independently.
- Is being repeatedly abused (emotionally or/and physically) by her parents/siblings or has been raised in a toxic environment and it’s time to get out!
- Can’t focus on her goals and dreams with the house being a “guest house” all the time.
- Got divorced and doesn’t have a family or doesn’t want to live with them; regardless if she has kids or not.
If I failed to mention any other reasons, please let me know in the comments ladies!
By writing these blogs, I intend to create awareness among people to open their minds and hearts and “respect” this huge step that these beautiful courageous women have decided to take!
